Camera Buying
Before buying a digital video camcorder, don't forget to check the Apple iMovie '08 camera compatibility list. Almost all camcorders that make use of the MiniDV or DV tape format's are supported by iMovie, however, only a small selection of Memory, Hard Disk or DVD based camcorders are certified for use.

Camera's carrying one or more of the following logo's are MiniDV or DV capable and should be supported by iMovie on Macintosh computers
