Student Email Update

Access to Student Email is now available. To access your email account, click the 'Student Webmail' button above or go to https://webmail.grammar.net.nz/owa and log in with your Username (Student ID Number) and Password.

Student email addresses are in the form <student_id>@grammar.net.nz (For example 12345@grammar.net.nz)

It is important you check your email account frequently as important information may be distributed to students by email.


Important Notes:

  • Email messages you send are checked for inappropriate content before being delivered. This includes language, images and attachments.
  • Email messages you send are retained in case a complaint is received about any message you have sent.
  • Email messages you receive are checked for inappropriate content, viruses and spam before being delivered to you. We are unable to retrieve messages that have been rejected due to any form of inappropriate content.
  • If you receive an email message that is in any way threatening or offensive, immediately forward the entire message to postmaster@grammar.net.nz and DO NOT delete the message from your email account, it may be required for further follow-up action.
  • All email messages sent by students have a standard disclaimer attached that can not be modified or removed. This includes contact details should a recipient find the content of a message in any way inappropriate.
  • Attachments are limited to 5MB in size for sending and receiving.
  • You have a maximum email storage quota of 10MB - once you have reached this quota, you will no longer be able to send or receive email messages and will need to delete messages you no longer require.
